We advise against chocolate deliveries to warmer countries and/ or in summer months when temperatures are higher than 20 degrees centigrade. Some products are more fragile and are therefore not available for International Deliveries. We have no control over temperatures during international deliveries, and so we cannot accept responsibility or offer any guarantees. It is assumed customers have checked the temperatures themselves prior to ordering. We do not offer a refrigerated / cool box delivery option as they still do not guarantee a consistent and exact temperature.

LOCAL DELIVERY

This refers to Orders delivered to Malta (Europe). Most of the times, delivery is made by our in-house team. In some situations, we rely on a third party service for deliveries. In such cases, a tracking number is always available and can be provided by email request. If the order reaches us by 09:00AM (+1 GMT), delivery is usually completed within the following day. During busy times, or in situations beyond our control, it can take up to 3 days. We also offer an Express Delivery option, with a deliveries offered generally within a couple of hours (during shop opening hours).

LOCAL PICKUP

This refers to Orders placed and picked up from Chocolate District, 13, Melita Street, Valletta (Malta – EU).

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

All International (outside Malta) chocolate orders require a signature upon delivery to ensure their secure arrival. If it is not possible to accept and sign for the delivery, then a calling card will be left at the address advising of an attempted delivery. It will include a telephone number for you to call to arrange a re-delivery or for collection at your Post Office.

TRACKING NUMBER:

Once you have completed your order, you will receive an Order Confirmation email from us and then once your order has been successfully dispatched we again email an Order Dispatched Confirmation to advise of this. To monitor your order simply go to Account / Track your Order and enter your Order ID or your Billing Email. If you have not received an Order Dispatched Confirmation email from us, please do let us know. It may be the case you have mistakenly provided an incorrect email address or your email software may have filtered the email as junk / spam. In any case, we can provide you with this tracking reference on request.

CUSTOMS:

It is possible that customs may impose additional import duties and charges outside of Malta (Europe). This is unfortunately outside our control and as such, the customer will be responsible for any such charges. Customs stipulate that we must attach a copy invoice to all International Deliveries, delivered outside Malta (EU), so that the contents and cost can be viewed without opening the package.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

All International Orders will be shipped within 3 working days.

International Delivery time-scales vary depending on the country.

All Orders require a signature for delivery and are fully traceable should a delivery fail to arrive. We feel this secure method of posting is to everyone’s benefit.

Should an item be returned to Chocolate District because of a failed collection, we cannot be held responsible if no refund will be issued. The unknown holding conditions and temperatures may affect the quality of the product.

We will deliver to the address as you enter it and cannot accept any liability for late or failed delivery if the address you provided is incorrect or incomplete. In the event that you select a business address, Chocolate District shall be deemed to have successfully delivered to its intended recipient by delivering it to the reception area at the business address and receiving a signed receipt of delivery from an authorized representative at that address.

Gift Vouchers & Discount Coupons2015-11-29T19:36:44+00:00

GIFT VOUCHERS:

Gift Vouchers can be redeemed online or at Chocolate District stores. To redeem online, simply enter the code (which appears on your voucher) in the “Apply Coupon” field, before checking out. The voucher amount will be instantly deducted from your bill.

DISCOUNT COUPONS:

From time to time, Chocolate District gives out Discount Coupons. If you are subscribed to the Newsletter, you will be notified. Discount Coupons are redeemable online only, by simply entering the code in the “Apply Coupon” field before checkout. The discount will be deducted from your bill.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Vouchers become invalid once redeemed online.
  2. Vouchers can be redeemed either online or at any Chocolate District outlet.
  3. Vouchers are valid for 1 year from date of purchase. The date of purchase is indicated on the Gift Voucher.
  4. Lost / Stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
  5. Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  6. Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or discounts.
  7. Chocolate District reserves the right to dishonour vouchers.
